Children in Need 2025
School Council
Our amazing school council members have once again shown what brilliant leaders they are! This year, they took the lead in supporting Children in Need, demonstrating initiative, creativity, and teamwork every step of the way.
From the very beginning, our council members planned and led a whole school assembly, sharing important messages about giving, kindness, and supporting others. They also organised a spotty-themed cake sale, designed eye-catching posters, and even got their work featured in our school newsletter to raise awareness across the community.

Not stopping there, they coordinated donations for our spotty day, ensuring everyone could get involved and have fun while helping a worthy cause. The highlight of their efforts? Meeting Pudsey Bear in person and sharing all their exciting plans!

We are so proud of our school council for their incredible dedication, leadership, and personal development. They’ve shown that making a difference starts with a plan, a team, and a whole lot of heart.

Our Classes
We joined in the Children in Need celebrations by wearing spotty accessories to show our support. Classes completed activities to learn more about what Children in Need is, and we held a short assembly in class to talk about how donations can help children in need and the importance of showing kindness and care to others.
Many of our pupils also baked and donated cakes for our after-school cake sale. Check back soon to find out how much we raised!
Pupil Voice:
-
E: “Some children in hospital don’t have any hair because they are having medicine and are poorly. It’s important to be kind and thoughtful.”
-
N: “I’ve got a Pudsey costume because we are raising money for children, my mummy said.”
It was wonderful to see everyone taking part and thinking about how even small actions of kindness can make a big difference.
