Everest Express 2025-2026

Family involvement is a key part of the Everest experience. We regularly invite parents and carers into the classroom for Express Events, giving children the chance to share their learning in fun and interactive ways. Events such as our Sensory Café, board game sessions, and creative workshops allow children to take the lead, show what they’ve learned, and enjoy quality time with their families while building confidence and independence.

Autumn 1: Sensory Cafe

Everest Class had a fantastic time hosting their Sensory Café Express Event! The children designed and ran their own café stalls, showcasing a variety of activities for their families to enjoy. Each stall offered something different, including sensory toys, board games, and the classic combination of tea and biscuits.

Families were invited to visit each stall and take part in the activities, giving the children a chance to explain what their stalls offered and share their learning in a fun, interactive way. The event encouraged teamwork, communication, and creativity, and the children were proud to welcome their families and show off their hard work.
