Obstacle Course Club
In obstacle course club, children work together to create an obstacle course and then challenge themselves to complete the course quickly. The obstacles created, test balance, coordination, ball skills, speed and agility.
Current attendees have commented on the benefits of being part of the club:
"We get to work together and be part of a team."
"I've made friends with someone who I wasn't friends with before."
"You can be really creative."
"It's really fun!"
One week, an element of the course was to high five a team member at the end of the course. Children decided that this was a way to show good sportsmanship.
