LKS2 trip to Corinium Museum

Next term our topic in Lower Key Stage 2 is ‘I am Warrior’. We are looking specifically at the Romans and their everyday life.

To enhance the children’s understanding and provide an exciting and memorable experience, we will be taking the children on a trip to The Corinium Museum, in Cirencester, on Wednesday 24th April. The children will have the opportunity to investigate how the Romans lived and participate in a workshop to develop their knowledge and understanding from an expert.

The children will need to arrive at school at normal time as we will be leaving at 9.00am. We aim to arrive back at school by 3.00pm.

The children are to wear normal school uniform. Also please can you provide a packed lunch and a water bottle for the day.

The total cost of the trip, to cover entrance, transport, admin fees and insurance is £8.15. Payment should be made online using your child’s Parent Pay account. You should have received your activation details to enable you to create your Parent Pay account. If you do not have these details, please contact Mrs Taylor and she will re-issue to you the relevant details for your account.

If the total raised by voluntary contributions is insufficient to cover the total cost of the trip, then the activity will have to be cancelled.
